Reporting inappropriate chat messages
Help us keep HeyPeers safe and respectful
If you see a message that violates HeyPeers chatroom guidelines or feels inappropriate, offensive, or harmful, you can report it directly from the chat room.
To report a message, locate the inappropriate comment in the chat room. Click the flag icon next to the message to submit a report.
After clicking the flag icon, the Report this Message pop-up window will appear.
This form has two required fields.
- Why are you reporting this message?
Select the violation type from a dropdown list. These options reflect common types of guideline violations and help classify the report.
- Briefly share your reason for submitting.
This open text field gives you space to provide context or describe your concern.
Complete the form, then click Report to submit your information.
A confirmation message will be displayed.
Your reported message will be sent to Customer Care for review and will be evaluated against the HeyPeers chat guidelines. Action will be taken when appropriate.
Please note: submitting a message does not guarantee deletion. Only messages found to violate the guidelines will be removed.
