Blocking a Member From Joining Your Meetings
Blocking applies only to meetings you personally facilitate as a Peer Supporter. It does not affect meetings hosted by organizations or meetings facilitated by other Peer Supporters.
How Blocking Works
If you decide that a member should not attend your meetings, you can block them from your Contacts list. Once blocked, the member cannot register for your meetings, cannot join your meetings, and cannot send you messages or join your Peer Supporter chatroom.
If the member was already registered for one or more of your meetings, those registrations will be cancelled and refunded. This happens automatically when the block is applied.
Blocking applies only to meetings you facilitate as a Peer Supporter and does not affect the member’s access to the rest of the HeyPeers platform.
How to Block a Member
You can block a member on your Contacts page. To go there, click on your profile image or initials circle in the top menu bar. In the drop-down menu, select Contacts.

The Contacts page will be displayed, listing your approved (active) and blocked contacts, as well as any pending connection requests.

Find the member you want to block, then click Block next to their name.

Input a brief explanation for blocking the member, then click Submit.

The member is removed from the Active list and is now blocked.
To confirm, click the Blocked tab to bring up the list of blocked members.

The blocked member will be listed here.

What Blocked Members Experience
If they attempt to register, they will see the message:
“This peer supporter is not accepting registrations from you at this time.”
Unblocking a Member
Click the Blocked tab to bring up the list of blocked members.

Find the member you want to unblock and click Unblock.
