Managing members of your group chat
Manage members of a chat room on the Manage Members page, accessible from within each chat room. Managing your members means that you have the ability to block, unblock, remove members, and invite members along with performing additional management tasks.
To get started, open the Chat page by selecting Chat on the top menu bar.

You will be brought into your chat room. Locate the three-dot icon on the top menu bar and click to open a drop-down menu. Select Manage Members.

- search for members by user name
- view some information about each member
- use the filter tabs (Active, Inactive, Blocked) to view members by status
- invite new members to the chat room
- remove members from the chat room
- block and unblock members from the chat room
Inviting new members to your chat room

Once you are on the Add Members page, your contacts (excluding current chat room members) will be listed.

Choose one or more individuals from your contacts list by clicking their names. The selected names will appear in a horizontal list.

Click on Add Members to add the selected individuals to your chat room.
Removing members from your chat room
Removing a member from your chat room takes the member’s name off of your Chat Room Members list and turns off chat room notifications. It does not prevent the user from re-joining.
To remove a member, find the user in the members list. To the right of the name, you will see the option to Remove. Click to remove the user from your chat room members list.

Blocking members from your chat room
Blocking a member from a chat room prevents the user from accessing or participating in that chat room by hiding the chat room on the Discover Chat Rooms page.
To block a user, find the user in the members list. To the right of the name, you will see the option to Block. Click to block the member, and the user’s name will appear on your blocked members list (use the Blocked tab to access).
