Interested in making a meaningful impact in our community? Peer Supporters play a vital role in offering empathy, encouragement, and guidance to fellow members. If you're passionate about helping others and fostering a welcoming environment, we invite you to apply and become part of our support team.
Eligibility requirements
To apply as a Peer Supporter, you must meet the following criteria:
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old.Certification or License
A valid certification is required. Acceptable credentials include:- A state-issued Peer Supporter Certification
- A state-issued Peer Recovery Specialist Certification
- A National Peer Support Certification
All applications are reviewed by HeyPeers staff. If approved, your Peer Supporter profile will be publicly visible in the HeyPeers Peer Supporter directory. This helps members connect with you based on your experience, availability, and areas of support.
Subscription plan pricing
Once approved as a HeyPeers Peer Supporter, you can choose between two subscription options:

- Cycle: April 9, 2025 – April 8, 2026
Subscription features
Meeting allowances
Each calendar month, Peer Supporters may host:- Up to 2 free meetings (see note on free meeting limits)
- Up to 100 total meetings (free + paid)
- Meetings may be 1-on-1 coaching or group sessions
Minimum meeting pricing

We collect the following fees for all transactions.
- Stripe: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
- HeyPeers: 12% per transaction
Chat rooms
Peer Supporters can create and moderate unlimited chat rooms. Key guidelines:- You are responsible for monitoring any room you create
- If your room is public, you must post at least once every 24 hours
- Failure to do so may result in a warning and eventual closure
- Moderators must follow the Chat Room Behavior Expectations

Cancellation & refund policy
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- To avoid future charges, cancel before your next billing date
- No refunds are issued for partial periods or unused services
