How to Change Your Peer Supporter Profile
Your Peer Supporter profile helps members understand who you are, what you offer, and how you can support them. When your account was created, the information you provided in your Peer Supporter Application was used to create your default profile. You can update any of these fields at any time from your account settings to keep your profile fresh and accurate.
Your profile information is located on two pages in your account settings: the Host tab and the Preferences tab.
Where to Edit Your Profile
Click your profile photo or initials circle in the top menu bar, then choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
The Settings page opens. Your profile data is stored primarily in 2 tabs:
- Host tab
Contains your profile photo, bio fields, qualification title, and certificate. - Preferences tab
Contains your specialties and languages.
Profile Element
Below is a list of all profile elements, where they are located, and what each field is used for.
🟢 Profile Photo
Location → Host tab
Your profile photo should be a clear image of your face. Choose a friendly, welcoming picture and avoid distracting or inappropriate backgrounds. Only PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG files are accepted. The maximum file size is 2 MB. Images should be at least 200 x 200 pixels.
🟢 Qualification Certificate
Location → Host tab
You already uploaded a qualification certificate during your Peer Supporter Application. This field allows you to upload a new or updated certificate at any time. If you choose to display your certificate on your public profile, you can turn on the visibility toggle. If you prefer to keep it private, turn the visibility toggle off
🟢 About Me
Location → Host tab
Share your biography and any relevant information about your peer support experience and the support you offer
🟢 Short Greeting
Location → Host tab
This a one to two sentence introduction for peers who are seeking support.
🟢 Motivation to Help
Location → Host tab
Write three to five sentences explaining why you want to help others
🟢 Your Recovery Status
Location → Host tab
Write three to five sentences about your recovery journey and how it has shaped your life today.
🟢 Qualification (Title)
Location → Host tab
This is your professional or peer support title. Select the appropriate title from the drop-down list.
🟢 Specialties (Peer Support Interests)
Location → Preferences tab
Select the topics or challenges you feel confident supporting peers with. These specialties help match you with members who are looking for support in those areas.
🟢 Languages
Location → Preferences tab
Choose the languages you are comfortable using during peer support sessions. This helps members find Peer Supporters who can communicate in their preferred language

How to Update Your Profile
- Click your profile photo or initials circle on the top menu bar, then select Settings in the drop down menu
- Go to the Host tab or Preferences tab
- Find the field you want to update
- Make your changes
- Select Save
