Meeting Services: How to create and edit your offering

A Meeting Service is a predefined one‑on‑one meeting option that you offer to members. Meeting Services do not have preset dates or times and do not appear on your meeting calendar. Instead, members select a service from your profile, which creates a Meeting Service Peer Support Request. You then coordinate and schedule the meeting through that request.

Meeting Services help members understand the types of support you offer and make it easier for them to request the kind of meeting they need.

You can create, edit, or turn Meeting Services on or off at any time.

Where Members See Your Meeting Services

Members can find your Meeting Services in two places.

1. Peer Supporters Page
Members can browse all Peer Supporters who offer Meeting Services by selecting Peer Supporters from the top menu bar. If you have any Meeting Services turned on, they appear directly below your bio on this page, making it easy for members to see what you offer at a glance.

2. Your Peer Supporter Profile Page
Members can also view your Meeting Services on your profile. If you have any Meeting Services turned on, they appear immediately above your upcoming meetings list.

What happens when a member clicks a service
Regardless of where the member clicks a Meeting Service tile (whether from the Peer Supporters page or from your profile) they are taken to the Meeting Service details page. This page provides:
  • The full-service description
  • The duration
  • The price
  • A Book Now button
From there, the member can choose to request the service, which begins the Peer Support Request process.

How Meeting Services Work

Here is how the Meeting Service workflow functions from start to finish:
  1. A member visits your Peer Supporter profile.
  2. They select one of your Meeting Services.
  3. A Meeting Service Peer Support Request is created.
  4. You coordinate the meeting date and time inside the request.
  5. Once you and the member agree on a time, you schedule the meeting.
  6. The member pays and registers for the meeting.
  7. You and the member join your meeting at the agreed upon time.

Best Practices for Creating Effective Meeting Services

    • Use clear, simple service names
    • Write descriptions that set expectations and help members understand what the meeting will cover
    • Avoid creating multiple services that overlap or duplicate each other
    • Keep durations realistic for the type of support you offer
These practices help members choose the right service and reduce confusion.
