What is an organization Group Leader?

An organization Group Leader is a certified or licensed Peer Support Specialist who facilitates meetings on behalf of an organization. These individuals are selected based on their lived experience and are hired by the organization to lead peer support sessions aligned with those experiences. As representatives of their organizations, Group Leaders foster meaningful conversations and build connections, while aligning their facilitation with the organization’s mission and area of specialty

Viewing Group Leader profiles

Some organizations choose to highlight their Group Leaders on their HeyPeers profile. To access this, first select Organizations from the top menu bar.
You’ll see a list of organization tiles—each one displays the name and logo for easy recognition. Locate the organization you’re interested in, then click More to continue.
If the organization shares information about its Group Leaders, you’ll see a Group Leaders tab. Click it to view the individuals who facilitate group meetings for that organization.

To learn how to connect with a Group Leader who hosts a specific meeting for an organization, see How to connect with an organization Group Leader.
