Why am I seeing the message “Reset token is invalid”?

This message appears when you try to reset your HeyPeers password using a link that is no longer valid. A “reset token” is simply the code inside your password‑reset link. If the link can’t be verified, the system shows this message.

Common reasons this happen

You may see “Reset token is invalid” if:
  • You clicked an old or expired password‑reset link
  • You clicked the same reset link twice
  • You requested multiple password resets and clicked an older link
  • The link was partially copied or opened from a preview instead of the full email
What to do next
If you still need to reset your password, follow these steps carefully:
  1. Go to the HeyPeers login page.
  2. Select “Forgot Password?”
  3. Request the reset link only once.
Don’t request another one while you’re waiting — each new request cancels the previous link.
  4. Wait for the email to arrive
It usually comes within a minute or two, but it may take a little longer depending on your email provider.
  5. Open the newest email and click the link one time.
Clicking the link more than once will invalidate it.
  6. Create your new password.
