How to find a meeting

Discover meetings that match your journey

One of our goals at HeyPeers is to simpify the process of finding the best peer support meeting for you. The platform makes it easy to connect with any meetings that fit your needs. To begin, select Meetings from the top menu bar.

The Meetings page lists all upcoming meetings.

Search and filter options

The page features powerful search and filtering tools that can be used to simply the process of finding meetings that match your needs, schedule, and preferences.

Search for meetings: Enter keywords related to your interests, such as "grief support" or "depression," to quickly locate relevant meetings.

Date and category filters: Filters allow you to narrow down meeting options.

  • Category – Select the topic that suits your support needs.

  • Date Range – Find meetings that fit your schedule.

Meetings by type: Choose from any of the three types of meetings available on HeyPeers.

  • Group Meeting – Group meetings vary in size and offer diverse lived experiences, providing a supportive space to connect with others who share common bonds. Led by trained Certified Peer Specialists, these meetings may be hosted by individuals or Wellness Organizations on HeyPeers.

  • One-on-One Coaching – In a one-on-one coaching session, you'll meet independently with a certified Peer Supporter, who will provide personalized guidance on their areas of expertise or simply a trusted, supportive space to be heard.

  • HeyPeers Certified – Our certified meetings follow a structured agenda and use consistent templates, incorporating evidence-based materials where applicable, to support positive behaviors. Facilitated by certified Peer Supporters under the supervision of our Clinical Director, these meetings are led by experienced professionals with additional credentials and, often, advanced degrees.
