Reporting inappropriate chat messages just got easier

We’re making important changes to how inappropriate messages are reported and reviewed in HeyPeers chat rooms.

Reporting is now simpler

If you see a message that violates our chatroom guidelines or feels inappropriate, offensive, or harmful, you can report it instantly. Just click the flag icon next to the message.

Faster response times

Once submitted, your report goes directly to Customer Care. Most reports are reviewed within minutes. If you don’t see any action right away, try refreshing your screen to reload the chat room.

Moderators: Please use the reporting tool

Moderators can no longer delete messages posted by others. If you come across a message that violates our guidelines, please use the reporting tool to flag it for review. You can still delete your own messages.

Important note:

All reported messages are reviewed and evaluated against the HeyPeers chat room guidelines. Action will be taken when appropriate. 

Submitting a message does not guarantee deletion. Only messages found to violate the guidelines will be removed.
